Tomorrow in Canberra, marking 200 days since the crisis in Gaza and Israel began, Amnesty Activists are joining the Women in Black Vigil, calling for a permanent ceasefire now.
Join us, to stand in solidarity with the women and children who are disproportionately impacted by these ongoing attacks. Who in addition to their months-long fight for daily survival, are suffering throughout their periods without the provision of sanitary products, painkillers or privacy, or without the access and critical services they need to give birth and care for their newborns.

April 24th marks 200 days of a new wave of devastation and profound suffering in Gaza that has killed over 34,000 people, forcibly displaced more than 2 million people, and created a catastrophic humanitarian crisis.
For the last 200 days, you as part of the Amnesty movement of 10 million people have continued to come together to stand against injustice with the people of Gaza, and demonstrate that people power works. It’s because of Palestinian and Jewish activists and communities, millions of Amnesty activists around the world – and you, that the Australian Government and the UN Security Council have now called for a ceasefire.
Standing together in solidarity does make a difference – join us tomorrow to take a simple and powerful action in continuing to pressure those in power to demand a permanent ceasefire to protect civilians in Gaza.
