Friday 5 July: Rising Tide Canberra’s Community Climate Gathering
The Rising Tide Canberra Hub is a community movement working to ensure that Australia honours its commitment to the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement.
Its major event in Canberra this year is a Community Climate Gathering, MC’ed by the ABC’s Alex Sloan, along with music from Black Cypress and The Cashews. The event will be held at Lyneham High School from 5:30 pm on the evening of 5 July 2024.
If you’re located in the Tuggeranong region, watch out for screening of Rising Tide’s short film The First Wave, to be held at the Communities at Work Lakeview Ballroom, 245 Cowlishaw Street, GREENWAY, 6 – 8 pm on 20 June 2024.
