What is happening to the Quaker websites?
The Information Technology Committee is making several changes to our website and membership directory. An information session on Zoom has been arranged at 7 pm AEST on Thursday 1 August to report on and discuss the changes. All Friends are encouraged to join us.
We are launching a new directory system called QADO for our membership records and an extended Find a Friend option at Yearly Meeting. Our Enquirers site has been changed and we are also proposing an upgrade and other changes to our main website. We are keen to hear your suggestions on how the website could be improved.
The changes will be quite expensive so we want to get them right.
The Committee is looking for a Knack assistant and backup person who knows how to use and adapt it. So if you are a person familiar with online databases (even better if you are friendly with Knack) consider joining the info session to learn more.
Of course, you may also know of another Friend who could help, so please pass our request on to them.
