Promoting a Human Rights Act for Australia w/ Civil Liberties Australia

On Sunday 22 March, 12.30pm there will be a conversation with members of Civil Liberties Australia, Kris Klugman, president, and CEO Bill Rowlings,  about how to promote the adoption by the government of a Human Rights Act for Australia.

There has already been a strong recommendation from a Parliamentary Committee in 2024 for a model developed by the Australian Human Rights Commission.

The Quaker Peace & Legislation Committee (QPLC) invites Friends and like minded people  to take part in this session at the Meeting House or online.
