ACT Candle Lighting Ceremony – DVCS

Each year the Domestic Violence Crisis Service (DVCS) holds the ACT Candle Lighting Ceremony on the National Day of Remembrance during May’s Domestic Violence Awareness month.
It is a free and open event to all community members.
It is an opportunity for community members and organisations to gather and to take a moment to acknowledge the lives been taken due to the impacts of domestic and family violence.
This year we look to focus on the impacts of family violence on children and young people who experience it and how we can build and create a safer future for them.
Please join us for this sobering but important day.
