Sunday Yeehaw to Support Gregory – Parliament House Lawns

November 12 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

Dear friend,

On 2 November Gregory Andrews, a D’harawal man, dad and former Ambassador of Australia, started a #ClimateHungerStrike.

Gregory hasn’t eaten in 10 days. He’s calling attention to the fact that our climate is collapsing and our politicians need to show more leadership and take real action.

Please join me at 10am on Sunday 12 November out front of Parliament House for a snap Yeehaw to support Gregory.

All year Gregory has been generously sharing his Indigenous spirituality and First Nations wisdom with us. He has been speaking his Gari Yala, his truth.

Now it’s time for us to give back to him.

Please join me tomorrow morning on the lawns of Parliament House.

I’ll bring my guitar. We can sing some songs, sit in the shade and yarn.

Seeing a lot of friendly faces will nourish his soul as he embarks on this courageous undertaking for his kids, nature and our country.

Bring whatever you need (chair, rug, instrument, water, sunscreen) but please do not bring food.

I hope to see you there.

Big love,

Reverend Bones
