Friends from across our region are encouraged to join one another on the last weekend of October – from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. We hope it will be a joyful, peaceful weekend in the beautiful setting of the Silver Wattle Quaker Centre near Bungendore.
This is an opportunity to connect and get to know one another better, around a theme of ‘listening’. Supervised activities are being planned for children including ‘all-age’ events.
Catering will be provided by the Silver Wattle cook, providing food from the garden and other local producers. Indoor accommodation is available for around 25 people, with an option to camp or to share day-visit transport from Canberra.
Cost: We are suggesting $200/220 for the weekend per adult staying in rooms (fully catered), $110 for campers (fully catered), $30 for day-trippers (morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea), and $20 for extra dinners. Funding assistance is available to ensure that cost is not a barrier to attendance, particularly for young families.
