Climate Emergency Discussion

Saturday 15 April, 10-3:30: Climate Emergency discussion

The CECC will not meet on Friday 14 April. Instead, we invite Friends to come to a meeting about the climate emergency on Saturday 15 April. We will meet at 10.00 am for coffee or tea, and at 10.30 will share our concerns and practical responses to the climate crisis. Bring your ideas and the strategies you use.

After a lunch break 12.30-1.30 pm, we will reassemble to discern CRQ’s response to the report of the Climate Emergency and Species Extinction Working Group, which is in Documents in Advance. We will forward our response to the Working Group, and this will be collated with all the other Regional Meeting responses, for Yearly Meeting 2023. This will conclude at 3.30 pm.

We hope as many Friends will attend this big day as possible. Please bring your own lunch, or food to share as you are led. Tea and coffee will be available.
